Yay! Let The Magic Begin and may faerie dust shine in!

A fun new twist with some of my photos, assisted by the inspiration to start taking the time to read through some of the tutorials in Photoshop! Yesterday I invested some time in learning to use the selection tools better. A good investment - I uncovered some tricks that greatly speed up and simplify some operations I'd tried earlier that seemed to take far too much work!
So now I'll be getting back to work with the word processing software I'm also learning to use and build in the pages for the comic artwork to tell the story of the magic in nature. The magic that surrounds us all. The magic we so often miss with our busy, work a day lives that have us spending our time living up to the expectations we too often allow to pile up on our shoulders! Sure there are things to do, there are responsibilities to being human, to being parents or grandparents or leaders. But life isn't meant to be all serious and sober and no fun at all. That's not the world I see.
The world I am able to perceive has taught me; Life is meant to be explored. Life is meant to be enjoyed. Life can be lived with ease and effortlessness when we find the passion and joy that is our birthright and I believe it is our only true sole (soul?) responsibility.
While the magic in the bushes is now lightly dusted with snow here in Ontario, I haven't yet gotten many views of that on camera to play with. I am certain divine timing will pull that together when it's "right" and it will be an effortless and joyful activity when I do manage to capture the images!
And while awaiting that inspired action I'll get going with other inspirations currently presented to me. As an example, yesterday I sent a message of to a friend and inspiring lady offering to help her with graphics, page layouts etc to support the work she does to help people uncover their own self-empowerment. Turns out she may need something done today for a get together planned for tomorrow. That is a bit of an example of the magic I see unfold in our natural world. When the need arises, what is required will manifest! It just does... It seems like coincidence to some.
I'm a firm believer that all things "happen" for a reason and it's the path I am being gently guided to explore and follow. I have every confidence that path is one of passion and the joyful employment of the skills and inspirations I am so lucky to build, uncover and acquire. A path that needs no ultimate destination, a path that encourages me to follow my heart's desires while listening gently for the nudges of inspiration. It's a path that helps me connect with my very soul, my infinite spark of divinity. A spark we all hold and know well within, that we take for granted and that often propells us through life without our even noticing. The same sparks that inspire the goldfinches and robins to sing and mate and care for their young. The sparks that entice the flower to unfold it's beauty and enrich the world with its' fragrances and bountiful seeds.
While awaiting that happy time I get to capture this year's winter dance, I'll share a collage I put together from last winter and shots taken on a magical day when John and I were "chasing the light" as it played with the landscape and raced through the clouds and provided some interesting views of this lovely world of ours, the one I call; Our Enchanted Garden
Let the Enchantment continue! With Love, ...from the garden. Enjoy!
