The Symptoms of Inner Peace are:
* The tendency to think and act spontaneously rather than from fears
based on past experiences.
* The unmistakable ability to enjoy each moment.
* Loss of interest in judging other people.
* Loss of interest in judging Self.
* Loss of interest in interpreting the actions of others.
* Loss of interest in the actions of others.
* Loss of interest in conflict.
* Loss of ability to worry - this is a very serious symptom!
* Frequent overwhelming episodes of appreciation.
* Continued feelings of connectedness with others and nature.
* Frequent attacks of smiling.
* Increasing tendency to let things happen rather than make them happen.
* Increased susceptibility to the love extended by others as well as an
uncontrollable urge to extend it.
"Be on the lookout for symptoms of inner peace.
The hearts of a great many have already been exposed to inner peace and it is possible that people everywhere could come down with it in epidemic proportions.
This could pose a serious threat in what has been, up to now,
a fairly stable condition of conflict in the world."
Symptoms of Inner Peace, by Saskia Davis
This is something worth sharing, it was shared with me through another forum, this is really worth thinking about, mulling over and assimilating...
Inner Peace - the sign of a content human - notice it doesn't require money, fame or glory... It does seem to imply humility! And THIS IS how an empowered person views the world around them. These are tools to help anyone navigate through the challenges faced each day and certainly throughout the Christmas Season!
Just think of the implications; If you're not spending your energy judging yourself and judging others... If our "dramas" are finally seen for the smoke screens they really are... If unconditional love can be the order of the day...
Really - I don't think I could handle seeing my neighbors overcome with "Frequent Attacks Of Smiling" (*smirking lightly*) Honest! What kind of a neighborhood would that be? Could you handle your smiling neighbors?
It reminds me of the saying "Practice Senseless Acts Of Kindness!" Does it you, or is this something that wouldn't capture your imagination one whit?
