MindSay Anniversary came and went, April Fool's tommorrow!
March is nearly over and I've passed my one year anniversary at MindSay! Yippee!
I didn't bother to go back and read my first posts, so I don't know the specific date but I do know I did an entry for April Fools Day suggesting people might try "tricks" and jokes and the like that aren't hurtful or downgrading. In other words having fun without hurting someone else. Practical jokes are well and good when they don't injure another physically or otherwise. Cruel jokes aren't ever justified and aren't funny, rather they show the "problem" personality of the perpetrator!
I'll suggest this again this year, when you're thinking up some fun stunts for April Fool's Day with your friends, co-workers and family; think up things that make people laugh in happiness rather than in embarassment or anxiety! A fool, like a court jester, is meant to entertain and entertaining someone is best done without harm to another.
And entertaining is just what the garden has been this week! No April Fools there!
The lovely blue scillia buds are up and there's the promise of rain coming this afternoon and tomorrow that will have them open and luscious in no time! Perhaps I'll get a chance to snap some soggy shots after the rains and I'm sure a rainy day can result in some incredible colour without being washed out by strong spring sunlight!
They're up and ready to PoP anytime!
And I love the depth of field in this following shot; where the foreground and background are obviously not the focus! Scillia in a row!
They'll be more impressive soon, promise!
Another photograph; a smiling spring moon with a short poem can be viewed at my Poetry Blog at ;

Please remember, tomorrow; Don't Be a Cruel Fool!
