It was a rainy day in Pizzaville...and in the garden too!Indeed!

Wet Morning Glories Indeed!

Rain, thunder, lightning - wicked weather!
Temperature 19C (68F) Humidity (ha!) 97% Lightshow - incredible!
Barometer 101.07 and falling, Winds SE @22km/h, Gusts to 31km/h
We're forecast to receive 15 - 25mm accumulation (about an inch, 25.4mm = 1" ) as a front
moves through - to be followed by a two day heat wave and then set to settle down for a week!

I shut down and disconnected my computer this morning as there was a strong storm and lightning directly overhead at one point - almost close enough to smell the seared air...creepy!  Our poor JR Terrier panted through the whole thing and the garden is getting a thorough drenching.  Glad I got that laundry done yesterday!

Once the first wave of storms passed I went out to check things... and to gently shake the excess water off the taller flowers & shrubs... Soggy is the word today... hence my "wet" morning glories! (though I just played with my effects rather than getting my scanner all wet!

While some things are a little disheveled they'll right themselves in a day or two...I have to fight the temptation to mess around the garden much when it's so wet - better not to mess with it till it dries a bit! (can lead to problems - handling wet plants and wet soil...not good for either of them)

I've been trying to update this blog and edit in between tornadoe watches and more severe thunderstorms and having to shut down my computer...so bear with me...

Thought I'd take this garden "downtime" to introduce you to an incredible website...
If you're interested in faery lore, outstanding and refreshing new "business practices", Old English, Irish and Scottish stories about the "little people", artwork along that theme or music then you really must see this site; Http://www.Duirwaighgallery.com

If I can guide your tour somewhat there are several things of interest and a person can get lost there a while...it's that awe inspiring!

* Open the Duir
This is Duirwaigh's first video featuring some of the artists carried through the gallery.
It has become so popular and has been viewed and shared by so many that they are exceeding their broadband settings and being charged dearly for the excess bandwidth...They have begun to request donations...Once they have sufficient funds they may be in position to upgrade their subscription as well as set up space for their next production!

* Under the link titled "Inspiration"
You'll find some interesting and eloquent information behind the intent of the owners, the company, and the artists they represent;

Read Angi's "Message From the Muse" to understand where she "comes from"

Read "Letter to the Artists" to appreciate the refreshing concepts that other businesses could stand to emulate!
Truly, she, or they, are forging a new business philosophy that deserves attention! This woman follows her heart and uses discernment to guide her along the way - She is truly "living her magic"!

Gee! Just when people were thinking all the heroes & heroines were gone! I hope you enjoy your visit at Duirwaigh - and that, if their passion stirs you - you will help them out in your own little way! (As I am attempting to do here!)
Note also: I haven't spoken with them to arrange to display any images here on their behalf...at least as yet/because I would love to...if you're interested you can also check their Copyright link - Meaning I'm not inviting people to go and raid the artwork - instead some novice bloggers may learn from this that theft is theft is theft and take care to design their sites accordingly!

Okay, I'm off the pulpit now!

Look at it this way - it doesn't rain every day at the enchanted garden!

Life is your dance. Live simply, live well and laugh, a lot
