I found the personal wiki pages... just as I was ready to shut down the beast!
Wow!
If mindsay wasn't addicting before it is getting it's self there quickly!
I found the personal wiki pages late sunday night, very early monday morning,
http://www.mindsay.com/wiki/user/imcheryl
just as I was getting ready to shut down the computer beast!
I couldn't resist playing with it right away and added a few things just shortly after midnight... Early monday morning, I decided to post all my old "headers" that I've played with since I started experimenting with customizing my blog site sometime in August, 2005.
It's not in any formal or final shape as yet, and it'll be interesting if other people add to it... And I still have to think what I might even do with it - for one it might be a great place to put links to all the Wiki Pages I want to remember and keep track of , even to direct friends and others to them... hm-m-m-m-
This could be a very useful tool - in so may ways....
It could even be used like a personal "Home" page where all your favourite links and newsfeeds and all that are located... there is so much potential here! I am fully inspired and surely I AM Empowered!
And... I Am also distracted! ha! ha! ...delightfully so! I didn't even post yesterday I was so busy playing with my page; I even did some work over at luckydragon's den...
I also did a bit of exploring here at mindsay to see what other people are saying and doing with their pages... I'm encouraged! AND I encourage everyone to just go and play with theirs... see what potential is there... If you try something and you don't like it - just delete it and start again!
When you open your personal wiki you'll notice there's a bit of information already posted there. Even if you have no clue on how to design a web page, even if you've never heard of html or xhtml or css and all the other cyberspace terms YOU TOO CAN CREATE!
Here's an example of how I just typed over what was already entered into my page, just as set up by MindSay. I customized it just a bit, just for fun and practice.... Can you tell where I changed it?
Showing what I can do with my personal MindSay page...
As I learn, I'll share this information here and on the wiki help page, along with some other mindsay friends and contributors. We all seem to share a desire to see everyone able to explore these great features without too much frustration... If we can help... In other words - I guess - you can get to learn through our mistakes and our successes and our attempts including the failures!
Adam and Brian and the MindSay crew are creating a truly dynamic interactive environment that empowers - not just the writer - not just the journaler, the diarist, the student, but ANYONE willing to immerse themselves into the mindsay community and explore the tools available to them to communicate and establish a presence in the cyber world!
Happy creating!

Showing what I can do with my personal MindSay page...
- I can post anything I want - photos, music, videos, an extended profile, etc.
- I can ask my friends to help me create my MindSay page - anyone in my network can edit!
- I can restore previous versions by clicking "Page history" in case someone makes a mistake.
- Other MindSay users can add comments - the most recent are on top.
-
-
- Guess What else I can do?
- set up links to the personal pages of other mindsay friends to form "groups",
- Experiment, without messing with anyone else's work, ex.; to practice with some programming or layout ideas I might want to explore!
