I took a chance that a simple cut and paste would allow me to quickly share this information with you all.
If you are unfamiliar with Sky & Telescope, their website compliments their magazine very well - in particular their interactive sky charts help you locate and identify items in the sky by entering your location and their map them simulates your view of the sky at different times of day or night.
This comet will only be visible a few more days - tonight is apparently the best night for viewing - and after Friday Comet McNaught will be visible to friends in the Southern Hemisphere!
I see the Universe is sprinkling us with star dust and making our wishes come true!

If you live in the Northern Hemisphere, this evening is your best opportunity to catch Comet McNaught in its full glory. On Thursday, the comet will be significantly lower in bright twilight, and observing it on Friday, when it reaches perihelion, may prove challenging. After that, Comet McNaught will become a target for observers in the Southern Hemisphere. > read more
