Glorious Morning Glories!
I love the colour combinations in the morning glories that grace the front of the greenhouse! You may have guessed I don't yet have my hands on a digital camera...that situation will be righted ASAP! In the meantime I've learned to be quite handy with my scanner...
I am limited only by the length of my printer cable....but...have you ever priced a 200' printer cable? I'm afraid to think...guess the camera's a more "cost effective" alternative...With my experiments I discovered there's a lot that can be done with a scanner...(oh! my! some 'sayers might even get some "racy ideas" ...I'm here to say I accept no responsibility for damaged scanners or personal injuries!) snicker! guffaw!
Temperature 17C, (64F), humidity 78%
barometer 101.85, rising, winds E 19km/h
A breezy sunny morning, promising to warm up a bit - perfect summer weather! For camping, for gardening, for lazing in the hammock! A bike ride will be "just the ticket" today - it's not too hot and there's not a lot of physical work needed in the garden today so I won't be too tired!
So while the birds have their breakfast and tease my canine companion Keisha I'll get our laundry hung up on the line and then see if that bike has enough air in the tires...I love the fresh smell of linens hung on the line! the breeze should have everything dry in less than 2 hours...ah, now that's a good window of opportunity there! Pack a little lunch, just in case I need the extra energy and off I go!
I must explain we are fortunate to live in a smallish city with lots of "green spaces", two small rivers meander through the city and various parks line their banks. There are trails that crisscross the city northward and south and a person can "get around" by bike without having to ride the roads much at all. There's a good variety of trails too! Technical single track trails which are my very favourite, paved and finely ground limestone pathways too! I truly feel blessed to have such a happy experience here in my city. I would wish it on anyone I know! (opposite to what is usually said...)
Sometimes I even feel a twinge of guilt that I can sit here and feel the world is beautiful and people are good hearted and all that is required is available to all who request it...as I am well aware the world does not appear the same when viewed through someone else's glasses! Yet I choose to see the positive, I choose to believe we all aim for our highest and best, I choose to believe the universe supports my experiences and that I have a purpose and meaning; to be. I choose to believe we all do! I choose to have faith that eventually all will make the same choice - globally - people will wake up and see the folly of their ways and come to understand what is really important and what they want to place their focus on.
Someday...
And until that day...I'll be here in the garden with the faeries, the flowers, the fruits and the vegetables...sharring what I can of what I've come to know.
Hope you enjoyed your walk in the garden today! Do come again - we'll try to refresh the images from time to time and introduce you to all the players! So do stop by again!
Life is our dance. Live simply, live well and laugh, a lot ;-D
