Didn't mention my reading earlier because I had little time and was more inspired to quickly express the pleasure and joy I was feeling in my day, hoping others had the same in some way.
Plus I was running late, but magically the day flowed and I was pleased I had taken the time to at least write those words, something uplifting and supportive, even empowering...Rather than complain "I didn't have time" or to be stressed somehow about it and "caught up in the drama..." .
And again the cards were bang on!
I hadn't made specific plans how I would use the suggestions and yet they seemed to show their appropriateness as gracefully and naturally as a breeze . They are useful in helping me be more open to other perspectives.
With an open mind and acceptance that we all have a right to our thoughts, our feelings and our beleif systems - it is far easier to be accepting and compassionate to other people's ways of "being".
That state being reached (today at least) - it is hard to rant and rave about one "side" of an issue or another. All sides to an issue have their validity, and who am I to judge whether one thing is "right" and another is "wrong" for anyone but myself. And even then am I not wasting energy and time bothering to judge when there are far more intersting things to do in this world?
Exactly the mechanics of writing this blog and choosing to express these reflections are all part of the card readings so totaly related and somehow it's also part of another lesson I've been attending to. I love how it falls together sometimes - so magically! I feel I have been imbued with a childlike wonder and enchantment that I want to encourage and develop. Our world tends to train that "rambunctious energy" out of many of its' citizens. It is a sad reality that many have forgotten their dreams and squashed their hopes long ago!
So somehow with the help of my readings, if and when they're needed, and just by the day's wondrous inspirations I will persue the concept of attempting to help reverse that ""programing" just by suggesting that there are other ways to view things...
Ah-h-h, what the heck there are plenty of colours, ...(that's with a u, I'm Canadian, eh!!! 'xplain it all?) ...in the rainbow and I've heard tell there are "many flavours of the truth..."
So this is my favourite flavour!
Cool!
